Hi, I'm Mummy J.  

The creator and owner of Funky Fido.

And proud Mum of 3 West Highland Terriers- my Westie Wombles, Jasper, Winnie Poohs & Paddi Bear.

10 years ago whilst working as a Paediatric Nurse, I contracted a life-threatening illness, and my life changed forever.  I was no longer able to work, and had to leave my job.

But, with bills to pay, and (at that time) 2 Westies depending on me, I started making dog collars and leashes and selling them at local markets.

Fast forward 10 years, and I now have a new direction, a new passion and a new love of life.. surrounded by dogs and people who love their dogs (nearly!) as much as I do!

Funky Fido is a Melbourne business designing and handcrafting dog collars, leashes, quality pet accessories, and a wide selection of unique gifts.

We are passionate about dogs, their safety, their needs, their personality.

We specialise in "correct fit" harnesses, designed with your dogs comfort, safety and fit in mind.

We guarantee "there is no dog too small, nor too big, we cannot fit".

And if we don't stock your size, we can make it! 

From a teacup pup, to a 70kg bloodhound.. even a pig, alpaca or goat (we've done it all!)

Our goal is simple: to design and craft quality, affordable dog products which fit EVERY dog and EVERY lifestyle.

We are proudly Australian made and owned.. passionate about quality, and also supporting other Australian manufacturers (using Australian made & manufactured materials wherever we can, including webbing, buckles and fixings).
