The demand for filtered masks has grown but we will not compromise on quality or outsource...our masks are handcrafted and made in a COVID free home!
We also have had to urgently more supplies which also has caused a small delay.
Funky Fido's owner and creator, Juls, is only too familiar with the potentially devastating consequences of contracting a life threatening virus as she contracted a near fatal respiratory virus herself working as a pediatric nurse.
Fast forward 15 years and she is now unable to work as a nurse and is battling the health consequences of the virus.
She started Funky Fido to create a range of unique and custom designed hand crafted dog collars, harnesses and pet accessories.
And now we are in 2020 with COVID-19 changing our lives and lifestyle.
To protect herself, Juls designed a face mask which exceeded the baseline World Health Organization's 3 Layer recommendations.
She sourced a MERV-13 filter (comparable to P2/N95) and sewed it in between two cotton layers...and the Funky Fido Mask was created!
Jul's life was forever changed after she contracted a respiratory virus, and we want to do everything we can to help stop the spread the Corona Virus with our "Wear it...don't Share it!" campaign.
